We’ve scheduled a new event this year – a one day Staging Event on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at the Harwood Art Center. We’ve set a single morning conversation with a poetry reading in the evening. Our agenda for discussion is ambitious. Throughout the morning, we’ll discuss how we build community among artists and participants of all social, ethnic, educational, and cultural backgrounds, regional activists and advocates, and members of our community. We’ll discuss areas of concern that we have as an entire society.
Use the forums to discuss everything pre-, during and post-conference. They’re free, better organized than email, and always available right here, on the website. Want to weigh on this year’s schedule? Have a tip for a better traveling experience? Register easily, and for free, today.
(Please note: this is not conference registration; that’s over here.)
The 2014 Staging Event discussions will consider how art and performance of culture can not only inform major issues of our time, but also offer the focus for growth and change we must address. The Staging Event, free and open to the public, convenes October 18,2014 at the Harwood Art Center
