All panels Saturday and Sunday will be held at the Harwood Art Center, at the intersection of 7th St. and Mountain Road NW.
The Harwood, a beloved Albuquerque building and the historic home of the Albuquerque Cultural Conference, is now the site of its administrative office as well. The Albuquerque Cultural Conference, along with its parent institution, West End Press, occupy space on the second floor of the Harwood. Pop in and say hello when you’re in the neighborhood.
The Albuquerque Cultural Conference Friday night kick-off performance and poetry reading will be at Outpost Performance Space.
Outpost offers an intimate home for a uniquely eclectic mix of performances ranging from jazz to experimental to international to folk & roots and more. Outpost Performance Space is located just south of the University of New Mexico at the corner of Yaleand Silver.
This year the Albuquerque Cultural Conference will host an opening reception for conference goers at the Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice. The reception will be just before the Conference Friday night performance and poetry reading.
The Albuquerque Center for Peace and Justice provides resources and space for organizations and individuals working on peace and justice issues. The Center is located at the corner of Harvard and Silver – a short walk around the corner to Outpost Performance Space.
